Progressive rock band With Sails Ahead are excited to announce the follow-up to their second studio EP, Years in Waiting. The band will be releasing their third EP, Morning Sun on Friday, March 9th. Morning Sun was inspired by the overwhelming power of human connection, and how easily one’s actions can impact the lives of others. In an effort to best their previous release, each member of With Sails Ahead aimed to push themselves harder as musicians than ever before. Vocalist Sierra Binondo is eager for listeners to hear what the band have created:
“We’ve progressed tremendously as a band, and Morning Sun is the result of that. It also showcases the musical direction that we’ve been wanting to move in, going forward. We took a lot of risks with this album lyrically and musically, so it’s scary to be putting this out- but most importantly, it will be gratifying to know people will finally hear how we’ve grown.”
With Sails Ahead will be celebrating Morning Sun on its release day March 9th with an EP release show at Asbury Park Music Foundation in Asbury Park, New Jersey. With Sails Ahead will perform Morning Sun in its entirety with support by Your Persona, America Part Two and Visenya. Doors will open at 7:30 PM, and admission is $10.
